The Lighter Side of Web Design
I've been fortunate to have worked with some wonderful clients, and thankfully have not had to deal with too many challenging customers. I always go out of my way to make sure my clients are 100% satisfied. The web design and development business for whatever reason does, at times, attract people who feel that web design is a "simple" process and they should not pay more than $10 an hour for it. I've even had an occasion here and there where I'd be expected to work for free.
No matter what business you're in, I know you've probably experienced this in some form or another. Here are a few humerous client comments from the clients from hell website.
"Oh, actually we already paid a company to design it in Photoshop. We just need you to click a few buttons and put it on the web. We figure it should only take a couple of hours, so we can pay you $10 an hour."
"I don't understand. I gave you the content yesterday. Why isn't the site online?"
"I thought your quote was for an unlimited time limit, I'm not finished with my changes and I don't want to pay any extra!"
